Congratulations to Goodyear for their Consumer Digest Award winning tire!
The January/February issue of Consumer Digest awarded the Goodyear Assurance TripleTred a “Best Buy” in the All-Season car tire category. Consumer Digest awards a Best Buy based on a combination of performance, ease of use, features, warranty, efficiency, styling and maintenance and service requirements.
According to the magazine editors, “Goodyear’s flagship passenger tire is a repeat Best Buy selection, because it outperforms all other all-season tires that we evaluated. We are impressed particularly by the Assurance TripleTred’s unique grooves, which change as a tire wears and seemed to give us the best grip among all-season tires that we tried on a wet road.”
The Goodyear TripleTred All-Season tire is one of our top sellers at Sullivan Tire. We really like the design of this tire and the way it performs. The three tread zones make it a great choice for New England’s constantly changing weather. If you’re in the market for tires, this is certainly a tire to consider. And with a mail in rebate of up to $160 with the purchase of four, it’s a great time to buy! Make an online appointment today at any of our locations or call our tire experts at 877-592-TIRE.
Do you have the TripleTred tires on your car? We’d love to hear what you think of them.
Last year, Sullivan Tire opened four new retail locations throughout New England, including our newest location in Bridgewater, MA.
For more information about the Bridgewater store, click here to read the press release.
So, what do you think of our newest retail location? Have you stopped by for tires or service? How was your experience? Let us know in the comments!
We have had a mild winter so far, but it appears that Mother Nature is not done with winter yet! NECN is predicting a winter storm Saturday that could drop up to 7 inches of snow in some areas of New England. Are you ready! Our locations will be open all day Saturday should you need us. Stop by and let us give your tires a quick inspection and check your air pressure. It’s always a free service.
We have plenty of tires in stock. You can search our entire tire database of winter or all-season tires on our website. Try our “help me chose” feature to narrow down your search. If you need further help give our tire experts a call at 877-592-TIRE, try our live chat or call the shop nearest you.
As our “Weather Kids” TV spot suggests, “It’s Gonna Be A Douzy!” What do you do to prepare for a winter storm? Will you be out on the roads this weekend?
My name is Mark E Sullivan and I work in Sullivan Tire’s marketing department. I have been an avid runner for the better part of 25 years and have competed in many road races during that time.
Although I’ve participated in Boston marathon the last 3 years, this will be my first time running to raise money for a cause. I’m very excited, and running for America SCORES Boston has provided some additional motivation.
For me, running a long distance like the Boston marathon is a great way to break up the winter doldrums, and look forward to spring. However, this is much easier said than done!
I look forward to sharing my experiences with you as I train for the Boston Marathon and hearing from you as well! Any other runners out there participating in this year’s marathon? What keeps you motivated during training?
Feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section, and I’ll keep you posted on my progress!
Mark E. Sullivan.
All across the nation, football fans are getting ready for Super Bowl XLVI. On Sunday, February 5th, the New England Patriots will take on the NY Giants in a highly anticipated battle for the Super Bowl title. As if the rivalry between Boston and New York isn’t already an intense one, many view this game as the epic “rematch” of the 2008 Super Bowl.
Here’s how Sullivan Tire’s Marketing team plans on spending their Super Bowl Sunday:
I’ll be sporting my Brady jersey watching the game at my friend’s Super Bowl party. I like to be anywhere with a fun atmosphere, high levels of excitement and a lot of yelling.
My favorite place to watch the Super Bowl is on my parent’s couch, within arms reach of the home made buffalo wings. This year is no different, but I’ll also be checking my Facebook and Twitter feeds. I’m sure there will be some friendly trash-talking between my New York and New England friends, as well as interesting takes on the commercials and halftime show.
I’ll be watching the game at a small Super Bowl party at my friend’s house.
We recently bought a 60” flat screen TV, so it will be a real treat hosting a Super Bowl party for my family and friends. I think this will be a close game, and I don’t see either team winning by any more than 3 to 7 points. I predict the Patriots will win with a score of 34 to 30, and Tom Brady will bounce back from that dismal game against Baltimore.
Tara G (our resident New Yorker):
I will be at my friend’s house stuffing my face with pizza and wings as I cheer against the Pats.
What are your Superbowl Sunday traditions? Where will you be watching the game this year? Share your stories in our comment section… and GO PATS!
